St Damian’s is an oversubscribed Roman Catholic Science College which is committed to the professional development of staff and promoting the welfare of children.

We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed Senior ICT Network Technician/Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the implementation, maintenance and upkeep of school ICT systems and software with the direction of the ICT Service Director. You will also contribute to the planning and development of the school ICT support service and provide high quality service in relation to service requests and incidents in line with the agreed processes. You will also support the drive towards self-service across the college with the aim of improving the quality of teaching and learning through the identification and implementation of ICT support and training to staff and pupils

You will be required for 36 hours each week, full year, Monday to Friday. St Damian’s is situated on the Tameside and Oldham border and is widely recognised for the quality of care it provides for all pupils and the professional opportunities afforded to all colleagues.  The College is committed to safeguarding children and expects all staff to share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
